What is the healthiest food we can eat?

Almonds

The bone-building food packed with Vitamin E, magnesium and potassium. The selenium in them fights depression and anxiety. Eat some almonds before light’s out. Sleep tight.

Banana

Forget apples, a banana a day keeps a doctor away. Bananas are considered superfood. Its a powerhouse that contains many nutrients, improves digestive health, support heart health, excellent source of antioxidants, improves kidney health and helps you with cramps and soreness.

Pomegranate

Among the healthiest fruit on earth. I think everyone should include this in their diet. A glass of pomegranate juice in the morning will give you 10x advantage. Studies have shown that it is useful against prostate cancer, breast cancer, helps in reducing inflammation, lower blood pressure, risk of heart disease and many more.

Pomegranates contain punicalagins and punicic acid, unique substances that are responsible for most of their health benefits.

Eggs

A very good source of inexpensive, high-quality protein. Both the white and yolk of an egg are rich in nutrients, including proteins, vitamins and minerals. One large hard-boiled egg contains around 78 calories, 6.2 g of protein, 5 g of fat and very small amount of carbs.

Fish

Is low-fat high quality protein. Packed with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins such as D and B2. Fish is rich in calcium, phosphorus and a great source of minerals (such as iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium, and potassium).

Sweet Potatoes

An excellent source of beta-carotene, which can be converted to vitamin A and help support immune system and gut health. They’re high in fiber and antioxidants, which protect your body from free radical damage and promote a healthy gut and brain.

Green Tea

One of the healthiest beverages on the planet. It helps one with improved fat loss, fights against cancer and lowers the risk of heart diseases. Green tea contains L-theanine, which can work synergistically with the caffeine content of green tea to improve brain function.

Brown Rice

The last item on this list should go to brown rice. It’s one of the low “glycemic index” food option that is easily available in the market. Brown rice is a whole grain that contains the barn and nutritious germ. Eating brown rice and other whole grains may help increase blood antioxidant levels and reduce the risk of heart disease and obesity.
